BattroBorg Battle Arena Set {Review}

Product Description:

The next innovation in robot gaming technology, Battroborgs are motion controlled battling robots fueled by your fists. The 3-in-1 Battle Arena offers multiple ways to play and each Battroborg can battle in three different, competitive game modes. So it’s time to settle the score and take on your opponent in the 3-in-1 battle arena. Combat mode allows for head to head battle against an opponent. Or take your robot to battle boot camp where you can master the art of combat by taking on the training drones. Try out the other game play options like Autodrone mode where you can battle against a self-activated Battroborg robot or Tag mode where a self-propelled Battroborg robot chases after you. Battroborg’s advanced radio control technology also allows for you to host a Battle Royal where up to 20 robots can battle at one time.

We received the Battroborg 3-in-1 Arena set a while ago. It's pretty fun where you control the fighting moves with a wireless remote through movement. We loved it and was entertained for hours. We did get bored after a few days, but we put it away and bring it back out when we want to play again.

The set comes with:
  • 2 Robots
  • 2 Nunchaku Motion Controllers
  • Arena with ropes
  • 4 Training Drones
  • 2 Sticker Sheets
  • 2 Face Sheets
  • Instruction Sheet
  • Requires 8 AA batteries
There are 5 Damage Levels:
  • No Damage – Green
  • 1st Damage Point – Blue
  • 2nd Damage Point – White
  • 3rd Damage Point – Yellow
  • 4th Damage Point – Red
  • 5th Damage Point – Flashing Red (Knockout)
All the FAQs are found on tomy.com website.

We wished that the ropes can be easily replaced if it ever gets broken. One time we left it on the floor, our cat chewed the strings and broke the elastic that the rope was wrapped around. The ropes no longer have the tension (so it's loose) and there's no way of removing and replacing it because it is all sealed into the plastic poles. Even with the snapped elastic inside, the rope is still holding it together.

Disclosure: We received the above mention product at no charge from the Company/PR Firm in exchange of our honest review in this post. My opinions are my own and may differ from those of other consumers. No other compensation was given.

Creative Mother's Day Card

Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend! Our Little One surprised me with a special card and craft he made at school. He came home Friday and said I wasn't allowed to look in his school bag until Sunday (Mother's Day). I usually check for his homework and notices, but this time I promised him I wouldn't look in there. And when Sunday came, he surprised me with these wonderful gifts:

This one was from his "show-and-tell" where I helped Little Brandon prepare to teach the class how we created this. I collected enough egg shells for the students and filled them with soil. During class, Brandon gave his classmates some seeds to put in their soil. These were edible sprouts and can be used to put in salads. Later on, the eggshell plants ended up as part of Mother's Day gifts. how wonderful!

Personalized Baby/Kids Gifts Wishlist

Last month was pretty busy (and will be on the upcoming weeks of this month) with all the kids school activities, kids birthday parties, and fundraising events. Speaking of parties and events, I recently stumbled on this site called minted.com, a marketplace of independent artists & designers that allows you to customize kids birthday invitations, cards, announcements, and other stationery. I think this would be the perfect time to get birthday invitation cards printed for little Brandon's birthday this summer.

I had a chance to browse through the wonderful designs and artwork. So far here are my favorite designs for the birthday invitations. I love that I can change the border shape as well as the color of the background or the graphics.

pARRRty! Children's Birthday Party Invitations

Party Trucks Children's Birthday Party

Comic Book Superhero Children's Birthday

Mod Shout Out Children's Birthday Party

The Worlds Greatest Birthday Circus Party

There are so many designs to choose from. I can't decide. Let me know which kids birthday invitations you like and help me choose the best one.

Disclosure: I received a complimentary coupon code to redeem customized products in exchange for my review. The opinions expressed are my own personal and honest thoughts. No other compensation was given.

Disney-Pixar's "Inside Out" to Make its World Premiere at 2015 Cannes Film Festival

Disney•Pixar's “Inside Out” not only ventures inside the mind—it’s heading to the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival for its World Premiere.

Academy Award® winner Pete Docter, who helmed Disney•Pixar’s “Up” (the first animated film ever to be the Festival’s Opening-Ceremony film), directs “Inside Out,” an original new movie from Pixar Animation Studios. Docter, producer Jonas Rivera (“Up”), and co-director Ronnie Del Carmen (“Up”) will be on hand in Cannes, along with members of the all-star English-language voice cast.

“We are overjoyed at being included in this year's official selection at Cannes,” said Docter. “With ‘Inside Out,’ we spent years imagining – and then building – never-before-seen settings and characters within the mind. It was an incredible, fun and exciting challenge and now we can’t wait to share it with the world.”

ABOUT THE MOVIE

Do you ever look at someone and wonder what is going on inside their head? Disney•Pixar’s original new film “Inside Out” ventures inside the mind to find out.

Based in Headquarters, the control center inside 11-year-old Riley’s mind, five Emotions are hard at work, led by lighthearted optimist Joy (voice of Amy Poehler), whose mission is to make sure Riley stays happy. Fear (voice of Bill Hader) heads up safety, Anger (voice of Lewis Black) ensures all is fair and Disgust (voice of Mindy Kaling) prevents Riley from getting poisoned—both physically and socially. Sadness (voice of Phyllis Smith) isn’t exactly sure what her role is, and frankly, neither is anyone else.

When Riley's family relocates to a scary new city, the Emotions are on the job, eager to help guide her through the difficult transition. But when Joy and Sadness are inadvertently swept into the far reaches of Riley’s mind—taking some of her core memories with them—Fear, Anger and Disgust are left reluctantly in charge. Joy and Sadness must venture through unfamiliar places—Long Term Memory, Imagination Land, Abstract Thought and Dream Productions—in a desperate effort to get back to Headquarters, and Riley.

Directed by Academy Award® winner Pete Docter ("Monsters, Inc.", "Up"), produced by Jonas Rivera, p.g.a. ("Up"), co-directed by Ronnie Del Carmen (“Up”) and featuring an original score by Michael Giacchino ("The Incredibles," "Ratatouille," "Up"), Disney•Pixar's "Inside Out" opens in theatres on June 19, 2015.
