Colgate Kids Review

With Halloween just around the corner and kids bringing home with loads of candy, they will need extra care with their teeth. It's important to keep clean and prevent cavities. Nobody wants cavities.

With Brandon, he has just stopped using his a fluoride-free training toothpaste because I find that it wasn't really helping with his bottom teeth; even though we were getting him to brush right after every meal. His bottom four front teeth were looking greyish. I tried to take a few photos to share, but it's not showing properly. Brandon learned to rinse and spit and not swallowing. He was ready for the fluoride toothpaste.

I was given the opportunity to have him try out the Colgate Kids Oral care line. We received the Spongebob Squarepants character Anti-Cavity Fluoride toothpaste and the toothbrush.

Colgate Kid's Toothpaste:
* Clinically proven cavity protection that strengthens and protects developing teeth
* Mild Bubble Fruit® flavor that kids love
* Specially designed for kids ages 2 and up
* Character graphics in a convenient stand-up tube with flip-top cap that encourages kids to brush

Colgate Kid's Toothbrush:
* Featuring kids' favorite characters, making brushing an adventure
* Specially designed for kids with developing teeth
* Non-slip cushioned handle fits small fingers
* Multi-height bristles that reach all teeth, including hard-to-reach areas
* Oval head with soft material helps protect children's gums

While we were shopping at the oral care isle at the store, Brandon noticed the Diego character on the Colgate toothpaste. It's one of his favorite characters. I think it's a great idea for Colgate to label kids' favorite characters as it really gets them interested. My trick to get Brandon to brush his teeth is telling him if he wants nice, white teeth like Diego (or other character), he has to brush properly. I'm still trying to convince him to brush a little longer.

Colgate's website also has fun Games & Activities for kids to get entertained.

BUY IT: Colgate Kids products can be purchased directly from their website or at local retailers and food&drug stores.

Disclosure: I received a Colgate Kids Toothpaste and Toothbrush at no charge in exchange for a review of my opinion. Thanks to Cohn & Wolfe and Colgate. The opinions expressed are my own personal and honest thoughts. No other compensation was given.
